Cucurbita pepo 'Small Fruited Warted Mix' is a wonderfully varied ornamental gourd mixture producing an assortment of small, unusually shaped fruits covered with distinctive bumps and warty textures. The mix develops a colourful selection of yellow, orange, cream, green and multicoloured fruits, often displaying attractive stripes, patches and contrasting markings.
Fast-growing trailing plants produce decorative fruits from late summer into autumn, making this mixture particularly popular for seasonal displays, table decorations, harvest arrangements and autumn crafts. Once fully mature and properly dried, the hard-skinned gourds can remain decorative for months.
